I was well taken-care-of in Atlanta this past week, meeting fun new people from SGAtl and getting taken to fun new places. Glad to report that i even got to go to my favorite rib joint in the world.. This place is so country that i ordered a rib sandwich, and what they brought to my table was a quarter slab stuck in between two slices of white bread....
with the bones sticking out from the side of the bread. Why did I forget to take a photo?

But the week was punctuated by the most awful evening of airport dealings. On top of that, I even lost my favorite scarf. I needed a drink so badly when i got off the plane. Lo and behold, the SGNY Holiday Destresser was still going when I landed, so I hopped in a taxi and went straight from LaGuardia to the bar. I shouldn't have stayed until 3AM (it was fun, tho). 'Cuz now I'm flipping the bird to the world this Friday night as i try to catch up on sleep and whatever else i've missed in the two straight weeks I've been away from home.

I'm very much looking forward to an extremely mellow, stress-free but productive end of the year. I hope some of you can join me in that.
