Just got back from the sloshy dung-smelling (hey, it was in Jersey. Had to smell) last day of the All Points West festival. Seriously, it was a wonderful afternoon. The weather was fine, and the melody-lover in me just bathed in the beautiful sounds of Elbow, Echo & the Bunnymen (although Ian McCulloch was a bit of an asshole to everyone around him), and Coldplay. Never thought I'd hear them cover Billie Jean and Fight for Your Right to Party. Happy times.
I haven't had much time of late (who are we kidding? This year, really) to fill you all in on my life. but last weekend the highlight was riding my bike home in the rain at night after a movie, and getting hit by a car. No injuries, and the folks who hit me were actually really nice, and mature.. My brakes suffered, but the bike shop fixed that in about 14 seconds.
i'm going to another snowboarding camp on Saturday. I'm incredibly amped, and have even gone back to yoga at the gym for the past month to get my balance in decent order for that. It's gonna rock.
Anyone have a snowboard bag to lend me for a week?
