Waiting is so hard. Anything can happen in the moments of waiting.
Mothers day my grandmother fell outside of her church. I get a phone call just as I was licking my mothers card closed....."grandmas in the hospital....we dont know if she is ok. We are all heading there right now" (all meaning my sisters and mother and father.)
I take the 45 minute drive to the hospital....the whole time thinking of horrible things that may have happened...and I get to the hospital....and I wait. I find out that she broke her wrist and her hip.
poor sweet grams. She has to have a hip replacement operation at 1pm today (monday) in order for her to be able to walk. pins are going in her little wrist. .

So here I wait for the OK from the hospital that everything went well.
When she was laying in the bed...they had her on morphin and that was making her ill...she turned to me and said...lol..."I dont know how kids these days do drugs! I feel awful!!"

the she was acting a lil goofy and she said that when she fell 6 guys run up to her in all direction and came to her aid. She said that each boy was cuter than the next lol...!!
I love my grandma!!! Broken and busted up...on morphin and she is still thinking about her hot male heros.
I told her before I left that the next time she wants to meet guys to come to me. Falling and breaking bones is not the best way to try to meet the boys. There are easier methods.......

Ya, hope your grams gets better, I went through full hip replacement after a car accident about a year and a half ago... so tell her shes in my prayers... i personally loved MY morphine!
