well, tonight was not a good jiu jitsu session for me. i got my ass destroyed. i was doing fine when i was sparring...until the last part. me and the guy i was sparring with were starting stand up. im not too great with takedowns just yet, i only know a couple and i havent really learned how to defend all of them yet. my right shoulder has been tender for a solid two months now. it hasnt bothered me, so i havent worried about it. well, i was clinched with this guy for about 3 minutes. he couldnt take me down and i couldnt take him down. i made the mistake of trying to get an underhook and he did a takedown that went straight to an armbar. the arm that he was holding when i went down didnt get hurt, but my right shoulder instantly started hurting. i sat up and i couldnt move my right arm at all. my first thought was "great, i just tore my rotary cuff." my instructor ran over and put icy hot on it and it helped. but it only helped for about ten minutes. now im sitting here and i can barely lift my right arm up. im sure its gonna be even worse tomorrow, and i have to work for 8 hours. lets hope i didnt tear anything and its just a sprain. ughhhhhh

Damn that sucks. I almost fucked up my rotary cuff from working. I was doing dead lifts picking up trash and my arm wouldn't stop hurting for like three days. Try not to use it at all and it should help a little.
