SO beautiful. Birthday weekend sounds like something to look forward to and as you know, your companion, is one of the people I adore around here so thumbs up on having a great time.
greaser:
I'm glad to see you're still quite photogenic love

I should have gotten myself a birthday present! I'll have to remember to do that next year.

Little girls who love frogs, and rain, and Little Women, all at the same time are an odd sort of little girl. They stay up late, and love to watch I love Lucy and China Beach with their mothers. They hate going to Grandma's house, because Grandma's house is boring, but they love Grandma's backyard. Grandma's backyard filled with hidden paths and hidden corners...

You should tell more stories. You have a bit of magic to your telling.

It is always that hour long block of time before I have to be at work working that really gets to me.

I could get ready now, sure . . . . but then I'd just be waiting until I had to leave. I don't want to start anything, because I'll have to stop before I leave. I don't have time to cook anything good...

Work has been crazy busy. It makes me happy I'm commissioned, but still incredibly tired. We had a celebrity makeup artist in on Thursday, and had made a shit ton of appointments for our clients to see him.

I ended the day with the highest, second highest, and third highest sales of the day. One woman bought...

Also, good job at work.

Well, this was my first time! I went with a buddy in my lab here who's very into fishing of all sort - I did it a lot as a kid but have lost track of my small tacklebox, don't own a rod yet, etc. I was like "trout? I've never used a fly rod." We used bobbers and worms... and it worked great. I couldn't believe it. We each caught 3 or 4 over the course of a few hours, not exactly going crazy but certainly enough to make it fun. The stream we were on wouldn't have allowed flies anyway, which also meant it doesn't get too much fishin' pressure.

Fun, I didn't know you fished!

I finally went to the store and now there is food in my house. I was too hungry this morning to do anything more creative than cereal though!

I just watched someone interviewed on the travel channel who had introduced himself and shared a cigarette with me outside of Supper Club in San Francisco. Pretty awesome to watch him talk about his establishment on national TV. Thank you for introducing me to your co-owner, writing down my name and welcoming me back any time I'm in town. I really like how you didn't...

Staying here, on the upper west side.

I'm glad someone had better luck finding a reasonably priced hotel in NYC than I did.

Alright, friends in New York and New Jersey. I need some help.

So, going to All Points West in Liberty Park, NJ.

Looking for a place to stay on some sort of transit line, which will still be operating past midnight each night, as the headliner act ends at around 11-12ish and we'll need to be getting back to where we're staying.

I was trying...

It's been forever since I've been out that way and I usually stay with friends or family when I'm in that area. Sorry, no help.

I love Andrew Bird, but I've never really watched any of his videos.

That was neat. smile

A song in my backyard?

It's fucking gorgeous outside. Ignore me, I'm singing a cappella.

Also -

I like to ramble. And waste my company's money while I'm on the clock >.<

My sister and I were talking about RFK not long ago, and agreed that the sense of loss is still sharp - after all these years.

You sing that song beautifully! I can only imagine a Minnesotan's enthusiasm for the coming of summer.

My vlog question would be: what can you tell about your Irish heritage?
velvet_petal:
I feel completely uplifted by that. wink

Back from Prom! Which, by the way, was amazing. I love getting to hang out with all of my out of state friends (whether I've had the pleasure of meeting them before, or am meeting them for the first time) as well as meeting some wonderful people who I haven't really talked with on the site before (who I've been trying to contact, slowly but...
