I was speaking to my Folks last night about bullshit level. My pops saying that, "as you get older your bullshit level gets less and less until one day you're walking on it and it doesn't even touch you." I can't wait.
My most recent tattoo, a blue heart on the inside of my left for-arm jumps at me a llot lately. Every time I...

Good luck. Not more bullshit tolerance for you!

That's the key, knowing when and how to say "piss off", in a nice direct way and then walking away. No one should have to put up with anything they don't want to put up with, it's their right to walk away.

Eh?

Ahhh.
Ha, I had lettuce wraps (which I brought), cheesy potatoes (which are apparently SGTC famous), pita bread and humus, strawberries, and Irish brown bread. But, alas, I aso got there late.
There were too many other things on the table to count, it was quite a turnout =)

Should I tell you about my SGProm experience?
snakeplissken:
Yes. Both in "What Really Happened" mode and "Penthouse Forum Edition".

Yeah, no.
brightredscream:
Yes.
Displays of anger can sometimes exagerate vulnerability and weaknesses. Out of proportion reactions and escalation of aggression in response to small misunderstandings can many times indicate unresovled issues and denial of insecurities. Displacement is so much easier for people than to come to terms with their own anger and its sources. Its not our fault that we are angry, but its our anger. I don't...

Yes, real swords why?

Well that was an interesting post of yours...
Displays of anger can be a way of manipulating people into engaging in conflict with you. I knew a person who did this because it was the only level in which they felt safe to communicate in. That's a sure sign of a big mental issue.
Displacement is something common and people do it to varying degrees. Usually they do it because they are feeling bad or guilty about something and need to justify a thought, emotion or action. The reason? Many people can't cope with high levels of emotional stress and some people can't deal with any level of it or have problems taking any form of responsibility.
With that said, sometimes anger is warranted. If someone tried to kill you, molest you, etc. that sort of anger would be warranted but it's only healthy for a short span of time. You'd have to be able to move on from it and get through it somehow.
