Date'n update!!! Some exciting stuff for me!
So, last Saturday I had my first date with Gillian. It was incredibly good, we talked, we laughed, flirted, held hands, walked around Chicago in the snow (which despite being kind of cold was really beautiful), had a lovely time in Millennium park, and saw The Kings Speech. Oh, and we kissed...a lot. She is LOVELY, smart, and very fun. We practically immediately began talking about and planning our second date, which (due to her spring break cruise) had to wait until yesterday...
SO! Yesterday we had our second date, which was even better than the first. We finally made it to the Art Institute, and it was so much fun walking around with her, talking about art, history, and just being close. We had a nice lunch and had a really great conversation, then looked at more art.
After that we went back to Millennium Park for a bit, found a (mildly) secluded area, made out for, wow...I don't know how long...but it was so amazing.
We're pretty crazy about one another, but are both a little cautious to not take things too fast...Admittedly, I'm less worried about it, but damn it, I'm a romantic; screw practicality and fears!
We're going to try to see each other again a week from today, and both feel as if we can hardly wait that long...
I'm pretty excited!
