yeah not that I haven't wasted a lot of time in my day, but maybe you could put all those hours towards some photography project or something. i played wow pretty heavily for a year, and at the end of the year it was like "yep... i just wasted several hundred hours of my life." not that it wasn't fun (and a lot of times not), but the sense of accomplishment is fleeting because it's all just pixels on a screen. they just keep you on this wave of one reward to the next, so it's hard to step back and get perspective that they have you on a hamster wheel.
