you were also right on the money when you said that he has no right to criticise because he doesn't know why i like the movie- he was basing his judgement on his set of criteria, when in fact i liked it partly because i could really relate to it on a personal level, not necessarily for it's script, cinematography or other standard modes of evaluation.

plus, faith is right. you do seem intelligent. and quite emotionally mature smile.

Hell Yeah! I think you and i are the only ones on this site with Buffalo '66 listed as one of our favorites.

He thinks that gallo is an idiot, and he sent me this quote of gallo's where he (gallo) says something that seems kinda racist- he says something about how redheads have a certain smell and if that's why so many of them have black boyfriends b/c the two "smell compatible."

i was unaware of the quote up to that momentor any bigotry on gallo's part. anwyay, history has had its fair share of artists that have been bigots and worse, but i try to separate the person from their work...
