so yeah...I need a hernia operation.... It kind of happened gradually, I guess... thought it was just a pulled muscle or something during the holidays, and now it's gotten worse, to the point where it's pretty uncomfortable.. so March 5 I go to the hospital .... and I will be out of work for 2 to 4 weeks.... do ya know any good books?

Aw, good luck. Last book to impress me was Jeannette Walls' Glass House. It's easier to pick up and put down again. I also recommend the Heroin Diaries. Surprisingly impressive.

good luck. I always recommend any of Stephen King's short story compilations (if you're into that sort of stuff)....I sometimes can't commit to a long book
