I fucked up.
It's been an emotional day. Found out from my grandpa that my dad is getting remarried to the woman he cheated on my mom with. My parents divorce just went through last month.
My dad wasn't gonna tell me.
On top of that. That girl I made a post about on my last blog.
I told her I wanted more and she just wants to remain friends. And I said I can't do that. We are in different spots in our lives. I'm looking to meet someone and start a life. And she is looking to stay single.
She said she still wants to hang out. An I said I can't risk getting more into you without feeling its going anywhere so I don't think it's a good idea.
My heart is like right now.

If you never ask, the answer will always be no. Unfortunately, this time it didn't work out the way you wanted but that doesn't mean there won't be other chances down the road. Someone will come along who will be right for YOU. I think you made the right decision in not continuing to hang out. Being in constant contact at this point would just make you feel worse.
As for the dad situation, I really don't know what to say. Perhaps if you tried telling him how his decisions affect your life, he may be a little more open with you.
