I had a great birthday. Tom Petty was as entertaining as ever and jammed out some songs really nicely. Denmont Tench tore it up like I've never seen before! Black Crowes were equally awesome and even played a delicious version of "Bad Luck Blue Eyes Goodbye", which just happens to be my favorite song of theirs. In fact, they played several songs off of their early 90's masterpiece Southern Harmony and Musical Companion.
The sound at the Gorge Amphitheatre is nothing short of amazing, and we were lucky to have found a spot to watch the entire show on a terrace right above the FOH station, the incredible vistas of the Columbia River Gorge all around. Threw an air mattress in the back of the trusty ole van and had a perfect "tent".
Just busy now getting Les all moved into our little perch above Hawthorne! Hooray!!

Saw Son Volt last night. Snore... I'd love to see the lineup you saw though! Older rockers who don't suck ass. That's a great name for a tour the Rolling Stone's couldn't participate in
Love the Crowes. Love T.P. Especially after a shit.
Also learned Ain't Too Proud To Beg.
Doing a bass set, electric and acoustic guitar sets and maybe a keyboard set.
