Nothing much to report as of late:
1) still cannot get ahold of the owner of the icepick. I did drive by, however. Yes, it's in a run-down section of the city. Yes, the crime rate's pretty high. Les suggested that I send him a letter via post. I will take her advice.
2) work. workity work work.
I took Wednesday off for some needed Mikey time. Les isn't working right now, so we were able to stay in bed all day loong. It was so nice!
3) The Poets are gearing up for our Halloween spectacular at the Dee-Lite in Grand Haven, MI. For those not aware, Grand Haven is a pretty sweet party town during select times of the year - a spiritual and political cesspool of Dutch wealth and greed all the rest of the time. Halloween is the chance for we Spirits of the Ether to come and take charge of a sweet little harbor town on Lake Michigan.
So bring your costumes and your party pants. I still think any SG's that show up will get comped drinks of some sort, but that may change. Girls, if that's your deciding factor on whether or not you come, Les and I will have "party favors" available at a pre-show gathering at our stead. Because we love you!
Last I heard, management was afraid "porn stars" might cause a ruckus, to make a pathetic story as short as possible. I'm just the bass player folks, they don't tell me anything till it's too late for input, so if anything's different than what you heard here, sorry.

And just out of curiosity, why can't you upgrade to XP? Computer can't handle it or just don't have a copy?

damn it, you and that G4 mac. I have a spare copy of XP for windows that I'd be more than happy to send you, and a spare bit of RAM, actually, but it's all PC. If any of that could be a help to you, though, holler at me and I'll see what I can do.
