Ha Ha, well of course the show was a small disaster. We had a little dance routine planned out, but of course that never goes as one would wish. First we ended up being late onstage, because the stage was 3 feet up and had the steepest slickest ramp you could ever imagine to get up onto it, so me and my counterpart had to claw and clamor in the most ungraceful manner up onto the stage. The band already started performing the song we dance and wave signs for because the show must go on, even if your dancers cant manage to get onstage. So once we get up there I was supposed to have gone first, but the other girl managed to scramble up there before me and pulled me up. There was almost no room at the top of the ramp to avoid sliding back down so she was first even though I had to walk all the way to the far side of the stage. The second we got up there we noticed a bunch of equipment had fallen over right in the place we planned to dance. So last second was SHIT!!! Just stand in one place and wiggle your ass Ok, so I stumbled over the equipment to my little side behind the guitarist and wiggled my ass. Since we had to improvise we had zero coordination between us it was so sad
We finished the song, did our thing and slinked off stage, sliding down the ramp on our asses and knocking into one of the security people. YIKES!! Lol It is really pretty funny if it wasnt such a big show with so many people watching it. I ran to the green room changed clothes, stopped to apologize to the one guy for hitting him with my sign and left. I would have liked to go to the afterparty, but a friend of mine had her housewarming that night too so I went and saw her new house and after ending up on the subject of cows found out we both grew up on farms. That led to greater discussion which led to us realizing we grew up only a few miles from one another (in a totally different state from the one we live now) had many of the same friends and were at the same party 10 years ago where the female roommate of the friend throwing the party killed herself at the party. And we met out here and had no clue until Saturday night that we actually knew one another since we were teenagers. How weird is that?
So that was my weekend. Lots of late nights not a lot of sleep.

That sounds rather amusing, even if it didn't quite go as planned.

Sleep is sometimes unneccesary. That just goes to prove my theory that this state, if not this country is too small. That is one of the oddest things I hacve ever heard of, and almost better that you had no idea you knew each other previous.
