Hey mate, cheers for the comment. I've literally just got back from our "night out" and it turns out my fears were a bit unfounded - seems she just genuinely did want someone to talk to about things going wrong etc. In the end, we just went to a bar, had a chat and she shot off about ten o'clock because her mates had promised her a "girly night in" whatever one of them is to make her feel better.

So hopefully we are now moving towards the "just friends" phase which is a bit of a relief - maybe she's also realised that having someone to beat up emotionally who also emotionally beats you up doesn't really constitute a relationship.

Anyway, good to hear you're okay - can sympathise about the whole job thing - a girl I'm mates with works as a social worker and she says it's a pain in the arse so if it makes you feel any better, there are others suffering the same as you. Not so sure about Perfect Circle meself but then I was never a big fan of Tool so I guess it's an acquired taste.

As for what makes me different, lots of things. I'm a lot more mature than most people my age. The things I do for fun range from going to see a play with my family in Boston to screaming my head off to the words at a concert and trying not to get killed in the pit.

And about your heart attack: I'm very glad that you are still here with us. I know you feel frustrated at still being young and having to watch what you eat, but your self-preservation is also very vital. My metabolism isn't what it used to be. I gained like 20 pounds after moving here and leaving behind my Karate school where i would take class AND teach. I used to be able to gorge myself on treats and not worry about the consequences but now I do. Then again, it's not so bad, cuz I've always had this sort of internal alarm that would go off in my body when I've had too much junk food. What happens is i start to feel kinda icky and luckily my mind interprets it as "OK, IT'S TIME FOR SOME HEALTHY FOOD NOW!"

On the brigther side I've been working out and losing weight. YAY! So yeah anyway, please take care of yourself. Sure it sucks that you'll no longer be able to eat with furious abandon, but you should be happy that there are OTHER things you can still do.

Hey Danny......dont feel bad bro. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that we dont think of you like that at all. You are such a smart, cool, and nice guy. Im glad that I met you on here because you are such a good friend. Yes, its true we only get to talk online but, truth be told Id like to actually talk on the phone sometime. We can share fucked up stories. Such as me not being able to sleep half the time and laying awake in bed till 3 am alot when I have to work at 6.

It's good that you have your cpr certification. You never know when that might come in handy I used to be certified when I was in the military, but I didn't renew it as of yet.

Fantasy football is where each person in the league drafts a team of players from the NFL. then the teams use the stats from actual games to come up with your teams 'score'. Anything that can happen in the NFL can happen here. trades, players out for injury, etc. There are also playoff rounds at the end of the season. Good clean fun.

I'm gettin it in memory of a very close friend of mine who died last summer in a car accident. I always warned him about karma and it happened, so its just a little reminder, black and red were his favorite colors.
