Well in highschool I went through MANY phases like most young girls do. @missy @rambo @lyxzen it took me 3 years of highschool to realize I was the "weird" kid and that was okay with me. ☺️ Enjoy!!!

When I lived in Albuquerque, I was part of the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism). They're a group (a large group -- - they have chapters is every state and, as far as a I know, most countries) of people that are passionate about cultures of the past (namely around medieval times) and take on personas of men and women of those times (they title themselves, too, like lords, ladies, barons, baronesses). They get together and do various activities, such as armor-making, sword fighting and fencing, historical interpretation, historical lessons, virtue talk, large scale medieval banquets, archery, and my favorite, scroll making. The scroll makers use illumination (the artwork outlining a scroll) and calligraphy to create scrolls with historic flair but about modern occurrences in the SCA. It's pretty cool. If there's a chapter nearby, I'd definitely look into it.
