I am in NY.
I got here on such short notice and am leaving quickly enough that I don't think I will be able to pick on any of the SGNY crew.
That bums me a bit.
A couple of you have my number and I will be meeting up with at least one person I know here.
Sorry the entry is so cryptic. I don't really feel like spilling details.
And now... time for food.

Happy April Fools Day. (and no, my post is not an April Fool's Joke).
I wondered the local streets and I discovered again what I had forgotten. Much of Manhattan closes on Sundays. Why does the eternally alive city close on the day of rest? Does the beastly machine, full of tourists and psuedo locals, actually need a day to close its eyes and ignore the blinking lights of Times Square and stomp stomp stomp of ambling feet?
How are the other boroughs on Sunday - equally restful?
