Is it possible to have heartburn for like 12 hrs? either I have GERD or something else is awry, I know I sound like a hypochondriac. it's age catching up with me and I'm just falling apart. speaking of culinary aftermaths.
last night I used my little Charcoal kettle grill for the fist time, I got to say those new treated charcoals that you don't need lighter fluid with really work! so I whipped up some rib eye steaks, with a quick marinade, of Hosin sauce, soy, Szechwan sauce, garlic, Thai chilies, cider vinegar, scallions. sprayed with some hoegarden beer to finish. I also grilled corn in the husks, some Valdia onions, mushrooms and a few cherry tomatoes, or some other tomato that is larger than cherry but smaller than Plum, I was fine till I washed it down with one Twinkie and one Ring Ding. then ever since I got this pressure in my chest that feels like a drill through my back.

tonight I am going to this even last min called Edible World at Some on going event http://www.firstpersonfestival.org/ first person festival, never heard of it, but the president can't go and his wife though I would like to. FOOD ill bring my Rolaids.

So last night when I was BBQing there was a female couple in the courtyard with their little dog, and I thought it would be nice for their dog to meet my Beans, Bad idea, 4 females dogs all Alpha. jelly stood there quiet face to face with their dog Maggie, for like 5 seconds then all of a sudden a violent scuffle, let me tell you its really hard to break up 4 little dogs form a free for all, and while 3 are on leashes. lots of yelping and growling, Little Monkey got so freaked out she peed, and then she tried to protect jelly who is on thyroid medication and it makes her like she's on Coke. so I had to put the 2 younger ones back in the house and just leave String bean out since she is older and calmer.
thank goodness no one got hurt.

I would like to plan on going to NJ to the Farm this weekend, Strawberry and Pea picking start this weekend and its a really short window, I would love to get some shots of us strawberry picking in a sunny field with sticky juice all over
