I understand how it feels to lose someone - in the past 2 weeks my cousin and a friend I've known since high school both died. In some ways life goes on, of course, but in other ways there's a void that's going to stay with you as long as you remember who you've lost (and trust me, I lost my father 28 years ago and my first true girlfriend almost as long, and you never forget).

I'm here alone all day and night, and then tomorrow is the funeral. Not much going on, no one to talk to at the moment. Getting drunk isn't an option. Someone just sent us a plant. How thoughtful. I was starting to feel better for a little while there, maybe I need more coffee.

So the play went great, the radio station went all out with pictures and door prizes (including a ruby bracelet) and all the women got roses and there was so much food it smelled like a cafeteria. They were a great audience but they got their tickets on a country music station so they all said WHoooo!! a lot.

there was some drama tonight, besides the leading lady being terrified because she dropped a lot of lines, the head tech guy and the director don't get along. I'm the only one managing to stay calm i guess thats my job LOL. These things always work out. Everybodys a drama queen at a playhouse.

I know the feeling. I once worked a show with two other techs and the director was so confused and the leading man so arrogant we insisted they list Lighting and Sound as being done by the three blind mice because we didn't want our name associated with the show.
