Today I spent my last few bucks on vitamins to ward off the virus I can feel in my sinuses. I'm living off hot dogs and ramen again, and have been for weeks.
Aren't I getting to old for this shit?

Photoshop Jackassery Brought to you by: My ADD & lack of interest in the paper I should be writing
I'm sure this is the last thing that you are interested in reading about right now, but, NAFTA was one of the first issues that I learned about in school that got me interested in politics. I can remember realizing how much politics and legislation affected aspects of society that I had never even considered before and suddenly I found myself reading the newspaper almost daily and initiating conversations with my very politically minded stepdad. I've been a ranting, raving bore ever since.
Nag me. I want to go badly.. But, seeing as how it isn't Monday yet, no new news.

The Calculus and I have been bickering again.
It all started when she decided to bring another lover into our bed. Don't get me wrong, her friend was incredible, and it was a grand affair. Double Integration is a swingin' good time.
But ever since then our relationship has gone down hill, and we've been reduced to squabling over theorums...Eular, Taylor. The Calculus is starting...

I am happy and getting healthier by the day. I saw that blue-eyed gorgeous boy in the wheelchair yesterday on State St. He has to be the same one that you used to crush on, even Eric was a little smitten with his disarming smile. So, where did you spend Thanksgiving? I'm sorry there were tears at all. I have a story for you, but I'm not sure how to explain very well without rambling so bear with me. The first time we talked about your mom had a real effect on me and I realized that I take my own so for granted. So, I've made a concentrated effort to show my appreciation. Yesterday, my mom came up and we went shopping with Eric. She bought me a tulle lined vintage dress from the 40's and I twirled around until I was dizzy to watch it flare out around me. Now, my mom has always been irritated by my silliness and my writing and other immaturities like these. Today, I recieved an email from my mom and it said this:
My tulle adorned Jewel,
spinning into our hearts,
He said you were amazing,
You are...
I cried reading it. I'm crying typing it. My mom has never said or written anything like that. I feel so happy I could probably spontaneously combust. Thanks for making me think differently. You have a way of doing that, you know.

on youre wavelength. Unfortunately school hasn't yet ignited that fierce flame of passion for my course. I feel static and useless and my brain is slowly dissipating into a pool of alcoholic numbness.
......buuuuuuuuut don't wanna rain on your parade, I'm glad your course is pushing your mental limits.

The Optimism of Uncertainty
by HOWARD ZINN
In this awful world where the efforts of caring people often pale in comparison to what is done by those who have power, how do I manage to stay involved and seemingly happy?
I am totally confident not that the world will get better, but that we should not give up the game before all the cards have...

I'm going to try to catch the matinee of the Motorcycle Diaries today, it's at 1 (ish). Do you want to come with me?
So, Ive embarked on this project, partly because I am nostalgic by nature, and partly because it serves as an excellent procrastination tool to forego studying. I have been keeping journals on and off since the eight grade, and I often read through them to remember my life. One day I was thinking how it would be so great to have them all consolidated into...
