So it's been forever since I've posted a new blog, I'll spoiler the updates
Heckler & Immigration

Things are, I think, going pretty well. My end of the paperwork is almost finished, though I still have to look up some telephone numbers of places I worked a decade ago (and also try to remember the names of my supervisors
).
Heckler has WAY more things to write out and provide than I do, but once he gets all of that done, he'll mail it to me and we'll send the paperwork in a big ass box, full of "evidence" that we're a real couple. They want photos of every trip we've had together, dates my family met him, etc. It's a really involved process. Once that is submitted, we should be looking at 10 months to one year before his permanent residence will be approved, though, thankfully, he can visit for up to six months at a time during that waiting period WHEW!

Going pretty good. I can't complain. It's physically intensive, but so far I'm holding together. I've been offered a ton more hours, but I'm undecided as to whether I'll be able to handle it all.
Doctors & Surgeons & Injections, Oh My!

Monday I go to see the orthopedic surgeon for my hip. There we'll talk about some injections (cortisone alternatives is what I'm most interested in trying) right into the hip joint to get the pain under control. Because my osteoarthritis is caused by a congenital issue, surgery is probably ahead of me. There are some neat proceedures they can do before completely replacing the hip though, so we'll discuss those as options as well.
Still haven't heard back from the other orthopedic surgeon regarding my dye-injection MRI for my shoulder, but the wait lists are pretty long, so I'm not entirely surprised. I'll keep you all posted on that.
Movies
I've seen a few movies since I last blogged, and I thought I'd share
Most recently it was Black Dynamite
I don't know that I've laughed this hard in a LONG time. I mean, normally, Movie Nite at Pagz' house is a good time, but my face hurt from laughing. You must see this movie. Srsly.
Next was Legion
I saw this with my brother. Okay, it wasn't quite as bad as you might think, honest. Paul Bettany is shirtless for a good portion of the film, so you know, I'm not gonna complain. And, as I'm sure you know, I'm a sucker for cute boys with accents 
Troll 2
Holy freaking wow. This was amazingly bad. So funny though. A documentary was made called Best Worst Movie, and I really really want to see that. I had no idea the movie had such a cult following.
