Ten days between posts seems to be my thing as of late I'm still not very interesting, though - I promise you didn't miss much, lol.

I'll start where I left off - dinner with Pagz. I used his slow cooker and made a chicken stew with dumplings, it was yummeh. He bought some berries and some really effing good vanilla ice cream, and we both had HUGE bowls of that I got to see a neat cut of Empire Strikes Back on his enormous tv (srsly, I could live inside that thing comfortably). It was a fun night.

My week was pretty unremarkable... I worked, I napped, I talked endlessly with my Heckler ♥ All the usual stuff. I trained a new girl at work, which was... interesting. I kinda wish I could say more, but at the same time, I'm happy I'm sparing you all the story

Friday night, Pagz and I also went to see the openning of Fanboys which was bad ASS. My brothers came as well I was going to dress up in my jedi cloak, but my brother said he wouldn't come with me if I did that, lol. I wore a black skirt, black boots, my Luke vs. Vader shirt, and my lightsaber on my hip. Pags wore his (much cooler) lightsaber, and a Han Solo vest. We were the only people dressed up at all

Rather out of character for me, I went out on Saturday night as well An old friend sent me an invite on facebook to his band's show, and I just couldn't pass that up. I was worried that I wouldn't know anyone there... and I was right Fortunately, my friend was out front talking with some people and he greeted me with a great big hug I tagged along with him for most of the night, it was great catching up. The venue was over capacity though, which led to the liquor license guy coming down, then calling the police... the gig was cancelled after the first band There were a lot of put out punks, let me tell you. Everyone was generally calm about it though. Even though I didn't get to see them play, I still had a nice time out meeting people. I had two cokes, too - I live on the edge I also met a guy who got a ticket for public urination.
