My Bucket List
I'm trying to focus on personal growth these days, and I thought making up a list of things to do before I die would be a good way to set some goals. Who knows, maybe I'll achieve some of them! I'm using the website My50 as a general guide. Youll notice not all of them are goals that require money - Im keeping it as down-to-earth and economical as possible.
Okay, here we go, in no particular order (save the first two, lol)
* Complete my divorce
* Marry the love of my life
* Visit England and 1. meet my family-to-be, and 2. visit the town my family is from and visit historical sites
* Send in a secret to Post Secret
* Visit the pyramids
* Stand up on a surf board (in the water)
* Volunteer at a soup kitchen/homeless shelter
* Pick berries and make jam
* Make a scrapbook for each of the members of my immediate family
* Own a decent camera and take a photography class
* Knit a scarf
* Swim with a dolphin
* Complete my camping journal (a journal I take with me whenever I go camping)
* Build and furnish a doll house
* Attend an NFL game
* Visit Florida (and, of course, Reggie and DisneyWorld)
* Host a black-tie dinner for friends
* Volunteer for Habitat for Humanity
* Go snowboarding
* Pet an orca whale
* Visit The Enchanted Forrest in Revelstoke, British Columbia (every time I drive past I think, "Oh! I should really go there... if only I had the time. Maybe next trip..." )
* Hike - at least a portion of - the West Coast Trail
* Grow & maintain a vegetable garden
* Learn to fire a gun
* Rent an RV and travel for a month
* Visit and tour New York City
* Train a dog of my own for cadaver search - volunteer when needed
* Be someones bridesmaid
* Have a table at a craft fair
* Attend a major comic convention
* Take my children to Disneyland
* Squish grapes with my toes for wine
* Participate in a fundraising walk/run for a cause (Cystic Fibrosis or Cancer)
* Meet sweetloretta, BrightRedScream and at least five other SG Members in person that have made a positive impact on my life, and who have meant so much to me.
soooooooooooo, that's what I've got so far. Any suggestions for more things to add?
Some random pics I took last night
