Today was a good day smile

I went to a job interview today, and I was hired right then and there. I am now a....

Kennel Attendant - which means I scoop poop for a living tongue

The manager of the facility seemed very impressed with the experience I will be bringing to the job, having volunteered for 2 1/2 years at the animal rescue. It's not a glamorous position, but I'll be doing honest work and I get to play with doggehs and kittehs when I'm finished cleaning their areas biggrin

The website for the kennel I will be working for does not have pictures up, but I found some pics online that look similar to the site.



There are about 5 acres of property, with two out buildings and the "Cat Motel" in the main building. There are indoor/outdoor runs & large, grassy fenced runs. From what I can tell so far, it's a very professionally run place.



I was treated to an early screening of the movie Coraline tonight biggrin That was loads of fun. It's a brilliant film, srsly. I was a little worried I might be going to see another Corpse Bride (which, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed, but it wasn't something I needed to see in theatres, you know?), but this was so different. It still had the trademark dark, eeriness of Tim Burton... but it was funny and quirky too. Even if you only go for the treat of the 3D, it's totally worth seeing.
