I'm feeling peaceful today. Yesterday when I posted my blog... my mind was racing, and quite honestly, I was freaking out. Today is a new day, a better day.
Okay, my finances still suck. But things will get better. I had a great talk with my fella about when he'd be able to move here from the UK, and it's looking good for the spring. Yay! We're hoping to have the wedding in May ♥
As you may know, I was away visiting family for all of December, up until the day before yesterday and my pets were at the rescue I volunteer with. Last night, my fur babies came home to me
Ranger, my black lab & Nermal, my little brown tabby (Georgie had an offer to go live on an acreage, and I couldn't let that opportunity pass for her - she's going to be a companion for a widower). My kitteh slept with me all night, and Range hopped up onto my bed first thing in the morning - we had a good snuggle 
The move is going well, I think. Getting rid of a ridiculous amount of work done yesterday & today. My brother not only emptied a whole room, but he also ripped down all the fencing that blew over (AND he stacked it neatly). I've almost cleared out the basement of books (13 boxes so far, thank you very much trocar
), got the holiday bins packed, and the books I want... it's mainly laundry & the kitchen left to pack. Amazing. I'm hoping we get home this time next week.
Speaking of my bro, I'm really enjoying the time with him here. I think I got him hooked on Battlestar Galactica, too *hamster dances*
My mom calls me every few hours to check up on us & our progress. My dear dear AsciraHalcyon does the same. Pagz has been a real pal & has done a great deal to lift my spirits (it's amazing how uplifting it is hearing of someone else's happiness). Lots of people left me well wishes, having heard of what I'm going through - and that made me feel warm and fuzzy. And of course, Heckler ♥ who is my love, my soul mate, my everything.
Sooooo, taking all of that in... I've decided that I'm going to push through this rough patch, learn what I can from it, and move on.
I can do this.
