I left Alberta behind for the month to stay with my family for the holidays ♥ I'm *so* happy to be back, seriously.
I met with my friends at the animal rescue and dropped off Ranger, George & Nermal, along with the mama kitty and her five babies (Marmite, Marmalade, Sock, Moe and Toastie), my six fosters, for a vacation at the rescue farm. Ranger and Georgie will have a good time there - 18 acres to run around and cause general mayhem. Nermal will be mad at me when I get home... she'll probably poop on my bed. The little kitten, Zero came with me - he's about 5 months old and such a sweetie... I figured that if I left him, he just wouldn't be the same kitty when I came back. He travelled exceptionally well, I must say.
So here I am, in my mom's living room, watching cartoons. It's a very full house, so I'm actually kind of revelling in the quiet of the morning.
I've been able to see Ascirahalcyon and Pagz so far, but I haven't seen any of my sisters yet
Nobody told me about the accident that happened on Saturday night - they were afraid I'd worry too much on my long trip home. The day I arrived home (Monday) was the day my like-a-brother got out of the hospital. My brother was released from the hospital the morning after the accident, once they were sure he was going to be okay. They've both got physio therapy ahead of them, but they should be okay. The pole probably needs replacing though. The boys made the local newspaper, too.
So it's been an interesting few days home so far. My sister's birthday is tomorrow, she's turning 22 this year. I'm looking forward to a Wii sleepover at Ascira's on Saturday and then dinner out with Pagz on Monday. I'm also hoping to track down my cousin Caducus too for some debauchery
