Adventure Two: The Heckoning
I wish I had the energy to tell you guys all about our adventure so far - has it really been a week already??? I'm not tired just because of that
perverts.
Heckler arrived on Monday afternoon, we came home and had slow-cooker chicken and crashed for the night
We had both been so excited/exhausted in regards to this adventure, well, we couldn't help it. Tuesday is kind of a blur... I think we napped. Wednesday... um... huh... and Thursday... oh! Thursday we had a date night - went to a nice restaurant (I choked on a fry and spat Coke out my nose - he laughed). I discovered that I cannot wink to save my life. We were going to go see a movie too, but we were kinda sorta exhausted, so we rented one instead.
Coffee time
Friday we had an SG night at a bar called Snatch - that was full of awesome. We grabbed our name tags from the front and then found a bed in the club with our real names on it
I lol'd. Enchante was the only member I recognized, it was a pleasure to meet her in person finally - Island Girls FTW!! Apparently, there was a VIP section we could have gone to to meet up with other SG members AND the Trailer Park Boys... sighs. How did I miss that??? .... too busy making out with Heckler on the dancefloor perhaps....
Saturday we went into The City to drop off my foster cat, "Mama" (a misnomer - she wasn't pregnant afterall, just fat) and to pick up a mama kitteh (Jess) and her FIVE two-week-old kittens. There are two black and white ones - Marmite & Marmalade, two grey tabbies - Sock & Moe, and one fluffy white one with orange splotches - Toastie.
Jess and Moe
As far as conventional adventury type things, we've been to the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller, AB - which was so much fun. If I can sort thru all Heckler's images, I might find a couple to post. My Hecklepants bought me a wee triceratops ♥ my absolute favourite dinosaur. We also went and climbed up the World's Largest Dinosaur
man, was that ever a lot of stairs! If the snow melts a little we might go to the zoo this week too.
