Big Adventure - Part II

Day 3 - continued

Day Four

We drove from Merritt to Vancouver this day. It was a super nice day and the drive was pretty easy.

I love this guy.

We were at my mom's place by about 5pm. Boy, was it nice to come home! I had never driven so far, I was really proud of myself. A bit of Marvel-history... I have always been really dependent on others to do stuff for me - my family, my ex... but this, this I did on my own. Not alone, but on my own.

Day Five

This day was pretty chill. Heckler was a real trooper and came to have lunch with my grandparents. They really liked him We had home-made turkey soup (which I always over-load with crackers). We went for a bit of a drive afterward to the beach and through Beacon Hill Park, stopping for ice cream at the Beacon Drive-in - a must if you're ever in Victoria, honestly.

Day Six

This was the beginning of the most wonderful, special, super-mega ultra romantic time of my life. We had had a lot of fun together so far on our adventure, but this... well... it was magic. I think this was my favourite part of the entire trip. I'm gonna spoiler it... in case you're sensitive to mush
