Work Update
I've broken "10 000 BC" twice and "Semi-Pro" once by mis-threading the projector. I'm lucky they're both kinda crummy movies, huh?
I think normally my boss would have fired someone for that, but at this point she can't really afford to lose me. She was actually almost smiling while we talked and she dug out the ruined film from the gears with scissors.
Tomorrow is the openning of...

... I really hope the movie doesn't suck. After the re-makes of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and "The Cat in the Hat" were so terrible, I can't say that I'm going in with any expectations of greatness. For anyone who isn't aware, I frigging love Dr. Seuss - I even have a tattoo based on the artwork from one of his books (a big hug for anyone who can guess which book
). The cast of the film is strong... but check this out
Kids' movies at the theatre are also crazy busy. I like kids, don't get me wrong, but I am not fond of super-sugared-up-sticky-little-monsters who have parents who treat the staff like babysitters. Wish me luck... I'm gonna need it.
Squeeeeeee
I has it. I'm soooooo excited for my upcoming adventure. Eight more sleeps! I was worried the days would drag on and on (kind of how like when you're a kid and Christmas is so close but seems so far), but I've been just happily coasting along. Next Saturday will come, and the 16 days will fly by all too quickly I'm sure. But for now, I'm just going to love every second.
that is all.
