I think it is better to try to compromise with the customer and ensure that they are happy so that they will give you repeat business and positive word of mouth rather; particularly on such a small site as etsy.
I'm not too worried about it. One disgruntle person out of fifty so far. And person to person sales is where I make my money. Concerts and other street events just waiting for the warm weather.
