so the boyfriend and I were trying to buy this really cute little house and we were going to lease to own it until our credit was good enough to get a loan. We've been doing everything possible for the past 2 weeks to do this, and I get an email from the guy today saying we have TOO MANY ANIMALS for him to rent it for us and that we'd have to get a loan to get it instead, in which case we would need a cosigned which we DON'T HAVE. And the thing that sucks is, most of our animals are in cages and wouldn't even be able to do any damage to the house. we have 3 dogs, all who are calm and don't do anything, and we have REPTILES who stay in cages, and even if they did get out, what damage could they do to the house?! oh, and then we have one hamster and 4 chinchillas, all who are either in cages, or their exercise balls so they don't do ANYTHING. I'm so pissed off right now, because this is just stupid. He said they 'can't risk the damage to the house' if the we ended up being unable to purchase it, which is stupid, because what the hell are our animals going to do? I mean, it's all hard wood and tile floors so it's not like they have to worry about carpet, and the lender we spoke to even guaranteed that we would be able to get the loan after a year or 2 at most.
ugh. I'm so aggravated right now.
