So I haven't had much of a chance for updating lately with life being as crazy as it has been. I had to take my chow chow puppy Siouxsie to the vet on Thursday night because she wouldnt eat and she started vomiting. turns out her small intestine had overlapped her large intestine and was causing a blockage, so they had to do surgery. Luckily, she is ok! they said there's no real cause for it, it's just something that happens, though it definitely freaked me out A LOT. I've been missing her like crazy, but at least she gets to come home monday. So the whole ordeal cost a little over $800, but at least she's okay even though my wallet definitely is not. on the brighter side, since she was going to go in to be spayed monday, they went ahead and spayed her while they were doing the other surgery so now i don't have to worry about her being put under again, unless something else (goddess forbid) happens...
Anyways, so her sister is going in monday to get spayed. So all my puppy vet visits should be done for a while with my bank account slowly creeping towards negative. i definitely need a better job, or extra money with the way things are going.
So after this whole fiasco, i have decided that i am signing my cats and dogs up for PET INSURANCE!!! to be on the safe side because this whole ordeal has cost a fortune, but my girl is worth every penny.
Anyways, other than that whole ordeal, i've pretty much just been working. I still have my cold, going on about 4 weeks. Went to the doctor, got a prescription, took all of it, and it never helped even a little bit, so apparently i'm just doomed to be miserable and sick for the rest of my life, joy.
As sad as it is, that really is all i can think of that's been going on....i saw some lady drop her baby out of a shopping cart today, but that's not really news...just child abuse.
Anyways, I guess I'm going to go.
