I hate it when something stupid makes me mad. It's not like you can really complain about it, or risk looking silly. tongue

Hope it passes soon. And someone entertains you!

okay to the people who called me last night: i was alseep. you suck. tongue

but on a serious note i have less than $10 on my phone. so if anyone calls, i'm not answering and PLEASE don't leave a message because it costs money too. and don't offer to pay for calls, $1-$2 is worthless to me when it comes to the phone.

i've been...

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

i don't have enough money to pay rent or my over due storange bill ON TIME because of the dates i will start getting paid. i worked out a chart of the money i will probably have for the next few months.
i explained my money situation to my roommate. last night i told him for...

Well I hope you get more than 30 hrs. I understand your roommate being antsy and skeptical, but from what you've told me he makes a lot of money, and shouldn't be so paranoid about things, seeing as how you're actually trying. For the room that you're renting, he is NOT going to find a young professional who makes a lot of money to room with, cause they could get their own place. It sounds like he's not really in touch with how things are in the real world. Or at least in Charlotte. surreal

i need to find a job that pays $12 an hour by the end of October. if not then i'm gonna be homeless. my roommate isn't comfortable with the pay that i'm at right now, even tho after this month i'll be able to pay for everything. so if anyone knows of any job that will pay me enough please let me know. i'll do...

That's pretty harsh of your roommate! Considering that it's REALLY hard to find a job that pays that much around here without a lot of skills. If you have any accounting/data entry experience, call Accountemps. Marksy's former roommate's girlfriend worked for them & they sent her to First Union (not the bank but their headquarters), she made $14/hr to start and that was like 5 or 6 yrs ago. If you had any dispatch experience you could work where I do, for a lot of $$ but again you need experience. Honestly I can't think of anything besides stripping where you would make that much with no experience.

Sounds like you need a new roommate. frown

what is the best way to live off of $40 for a month?

also does anyone want to buy a PS2 or a portable DVD player?

let me know if you do asap.

i also have a graphic pen tablet, thats pretty new.

training at Circle K went swimmingly. i even got done early(cause i'm just that good, heh).
i'll be getting paid weekly, which is wonderful. i've a good feeling about this. i think i'm definitely gonna be making money.

after training i went to JD. the store manager was there thankfully, and i asked to speak with him. trying to ignore the guy one position down...

Getting paid every week is the best. For me I think it's easier to save money that way, and you get more money because they take out less taxes.
sindred:
Congrats on quitting JD, seriously. I never thought that would be such a crappy place to work, but maybe it's just that one location.
P.S. I watched Requiem for a Dream Sunday night and I was severely depressed for like 2 hours. It was a very good movie, but anything that realistically depicts mental illness/depression (book or movie, The Bell Jar for example) makes me get sympathy depression, cause I know what the real thing feels like. And the infected arm thing was nasty.
P.P.S. Pearls of wisdom from The Breakfast Club: "When you grow up, your heart dies."
Of course if there is stuff in your life that has a negative impact on you, you should change it, but a lot of people think that just cause they're a certain age, they should start doing certain things or living a certain way. I'm not implying that's what you're thinking...I'm just "sharing." smile

i'm probably quitting JD afterwards.

something happened. then it unhappened. and it's okay if you don't know what that means.

i'm gonna be busy alot.

sindred:
I hope your training goes well & is not too boring. smile
P.S. I don't know what "that" means, but I hope you have a lovely Tuesday kiss

Yuengling Lager out of a 32oz. bottle tastes more like real beer than out of the 12oz. bottle.

i'm just glad i'm drinking it. after the "day" (ONLY 3 hours) i had at work, i never wanna go back, i hate the "managment".

my training at Circle K was moved up to Tuesday(which i have off from JD) but i work tomorrow 10am-2pm.

i loved it, well most of it. i feel more inspired to do things, yet i don't have enough motivation.
i do however have more thoughts i'm gonna put to paper.
we'll see how that goes.
