Well, today's been kinda filled with neat doo-dads and thingamajigs. I got called into work, so I went in (and I tend to be able to read a graphic novel or two pretty thouroughly per shift. Superman: Red Son was the main one I was reading today, pretty cool book, any of you comically nerd-ish inclined should take a look-see if you haven't already) and...

Saw a demonstation taking place while I was walking home, apparently it's buy nothing day, which I would have gone along with except I already did any buying of stuffI was going to do for the day.

Funny. Royal Fucking Bank screwed up deposits for June 1 and 2nd for millions of people. I was one of them. No paycheque or rent payment for me. Buy nothing day, indeed! surreal

I like your lateral thinking, predator boy. kiss robot

other people have so much more interesting things going on in their lives than I. I suck. At least I'm going to Texas in a week. Thank god. Get out of this hellhole they call Maryland for a few days. And I don't think your last comment was dumb. It's interesting that you think along those lines. wink

You know, I had things I was thinking about putting down, and then I forgot as soon as I sat down and my tiredness from the day hit me. I'll contemplate on this when I wake up later.

I hope your tongue is doing better. I'm sorry for being so damned flippant about it yesterday. frown

Ok I'm not really sorry! shocked

I do hope you're sleeping well. I'm really happy for you about the new job.

Break a leg with the monologue. smile

Well, today good stuff happened to counteract the pain in the fuckin ass of my mangled tongue. I got a nice one shot acting gig, I get to pretend I'm sick, and a bunch of med students diagnose me. Pretty decent coin involved too... and then I got a job interview at a little pasta cafe a few blocks from my place, so that could...

It's all because of your predatory nature, dear boy. Guinea pigs don't get bites like that. smile

Today looks like another job-hunt day. And its raining too

Edit: I just got my tongue pierced. Only it wasn't voluntary, and instead of a metal piercing implement, it was my teeth doing the piercing. Fucking ow, man. Got a nice bloody hole.

Condolences on the tongue. What gauge are you going to stick in it?

Today, walking through the park, I saw the dogs playing. I felt a surge of lonliness, at the epiphany whose seeds I had sown days ago. Since prom, I have had one conversation with someone in person socially. So obviously this would explain why I don't mind working in the least right now, as it's the only time I talk to other people (barring the...

Saw yet another movie. (yeah, I know, but movies I can go to by myself and not feel like a complete tool) So, the movie was "Spring, summer, fall and winter...and spring" A brilliantly made Korean film, and even though there are maybe fourty lines of dialogue, it is still engaging and emotive throughout. again, another movie I reccomend. I have more on my mind,...

I didn't take very many pictures, but I am surprised you aren't at least in the background of any. frown

What are you talking about? You are in some prom pics! Why look, here's one now -

Today was quite, quite mundane - all things considered. Got a notice that I have an audition for a production of Twelfth Night next week, so I better light a fire under my ass to get a classical monologue prepared. I traded in a few of my old dust gathering gameboy advance games for some new ones : Hitman contracts (PC) and River city ransom...

My birthday is in 13 days, the Matt Good concert on that day that I wanted to go to is sold out (and the one friend I have locally is going to it) and I'd really rather not be completely by myself on my birthday. blackeyed

Sometimes I wish I was a fanatical religious zealot, just so I could tell people that I was going to smite them, scream out quotations from the most obscure part of some holy book or have an excuse for not getting any.

kay:
o.O

Did you need a religion to tell people you were going to smite them?
user28480482:
You should try it without a religious excuse! It will be fun!

Also, just pretend you have a serious STD-- then you have a great excuse for a nonexistant sex life! biggrin

PS. When I first read that, I though you said you said, "Sometimes I wish I was a fanatical religious zealot, just so I could tell people that I was going to smite them, scream out quotations from the most obscure part of my body"
