Well, today's been kinda filled with neat doo-dads and thingamajigs. I got called into work, so I went in (and I tend to be able to read a graphic novel or two pretty thouroughly per shift. Superman: Red Son was the main one I was reading today, pretty cool book, any of you comically nerd-ish inclined should take a look-see if you haven't already) and I went to my audition for Twelfth Night, went ok I suppose (you never really know until they do the callbacks, which are on the 5th, so I'll know by then)
Last night went pretty cool, I pretty much lied still on a bed and pretty much groaned in pain while the doctors asked me questions about my 'condition'. So I sort of learned a whole bunch about bacterial meningitis and the symptoms (like they do a test with your eyes for the sixtth cranial nerve, which menengitical people have a sixth nerve bilateral palsy) some of them had really shitty bedside manner, and there were a couple whose lines of questioning would freak me the fuck out if they were asking those questions (they were leading up to an AIDS type diagnosis I think) but all in all it was a good kill of a night, made myself a quick and painless 90 bucks, so I guess I won't be starving for the next few days unless I go out and blow it on booze and movies.
Saw a demonstation taking place while I was walking home, apparently it's buy nothing day, which I would have gone along with except I already did any buying of stuffI was going to do for the day. Timing kinda sucks I guess. It seemed somewhat poorly organized too, but it looked like high school kids sort of going through the motions... could be worse, they could be like the mob of imbiciles standing outside of muchmusic fawning and drooling over whatever mall-punk-pop band is around. Now those protester kids should have stood around there, they might have gotten themselves a little bit of airtime. It's all about lateral thinking.
I've also become a little bit curious about the police that are around at private type functions, like things put on by companies in public areas- do they pay a special levy or tax for tying up an officer who could be doing something else? There, got my dumb thought for the day out... hopefully the rest will all be gold.

Funny. Royal Fucking Bank screwed up deposits for June 1 and 2nd for millions of people. I was one of them. No paycheque or rent payment for me. Buy nothing day, indeed!
I like your lateral thinking, predator boy.
