I have been going through a really rough patch lately...
-Holidays screwed up due to COVID then flu striking the family.
-Having to go without cooking the meals for 32 days because of a collapsed buried line leading to an odd spot in the basement floor and having to have asbestos abatement team come through to remove titles and glue.
-Being shot down for new positions at work because of management listening to a person that left under bad circumstances but still respected... can't explain that bullshit at all.
-Working full time and being the primary caretaker for both of my parents.
But my sister and her wife really aided in getting by with meals and helping moving my father's hoard, good friends getting me out when I could, and one more thing...
I had received the wonderful gift of a Valentine from someone here. I haven't received anything like that in ages... never realized how much something so basic can bring some brightness when you need it the most.
Thank you @penny for just giving me a bit of light when I needed it most. It meant more than I could say.
