But, seriously, though, there's no accounting for taste---and I don't just say that because, in my youth, I attended a (wretch!) Europe concert. 
I'm heading to New York to see friends and family. Of course, I'm going to be there for less than 48 hours so the whole trip is going to be quite active. I do like NYC, but it's kind of a pain to get there from the West Coast. Besides, having lived in NJ for almost 18 years, Newark Airport just doesn't have a romantic appeal for me any more.
