Okay time for an as always overdue blog
Last time I blogged I was preparing for a grading: It was as I expected it would be, very fucking hard. Running around with a punching bag on your back for 15 min isnt my definition of light breezy activity. Lol. Still, I escaped with only some roasties and some bruises: I deem it a success. Now a year to relax before we go through all of that again!
I also made mention of the fact that I began studying again. Well, I have gotten to a point where my working a job I loathe was interfering with doing my Pilates studies. So after my boss went on a tirade I patiently waited for him to finish and calmly handed him my resignation letter. That was one of the most liberating things I have ever done. Today is the first day of freedom. I cant believe how much I achieved in one day away from that place, even though I am sick at the moment. It continuously astounds me how skewed priorities can become if you let them. I realised I have always worked hard for other people but it has kept me from giving that all for my passions due to time and energy constraints.
As a parting gift we also caught a regular customer who had been robbing us blind. This asshole stole perhaps 3k of stock: thats only the stuff he admitted to. I have seldom been so angry. I am not a violent person but I seriously would have enjoyed breaking his nose. I even on one occasion told him how stressed I was about stock losses and how much flak I was taking. I am sad to say the whole experience has resulted in a loss of faith in people.
On a lighter note we have a third Durban SG, Congrats Arroia!
