Yesterday was tiring. I took an army test in language. Needless to say I'm even more amazed at the ability that most people in Europe have to speak two different languages very well. I scored a 1+/1+ which is the score that I needed for what I plan on doing in the National Guard, but I was hoping to get a little higher and maybe get paid for the amount that I've studied French. It was a good wake up call of just how little of the language I know and makes me want to become fluent in it even more.
Aside from that I'm one of the only people doing a particular job in my unit so my work days are pretty busy when I can't get time out to go do random shit that needs to get done. Still a slight chance I might be back in RI in Feb which would be great. And this weekend I'll go visit Kln. I've had Klsch there once before, but I think it'll be much cooler going there this time and seeing many of the sites that are there and having someone who speaks German with me will also be nice. Maybe Friday/Saturday I will go somewhere else in the country and try to see some other stuff.
Frames for posters are very expensive, but it'll be awesome once I have all my posters in frames so I can hang them up around my room and have all different great works of art to look at and keep me company. Also school started for me yesterday, but my statistics software hasn't shown up yet and I need it to do all the homework in one course. I plan on doing what I did in Iraq and printing out all my stuff at work and then each night I'll do some reading. One of my teachers gave me a not so great grade, and so I need to work extra hard to keep my GPA up enough to graduate with honors again. It'll be nice once all the school is over.
