Cancel my subscription, I'm sick of your issues.
(It's a funny. I'm not canceling any subscriptions.)
A couple of you expressed interest in the Foxbase Alpha shirt! You can buy it here! There are a couple other shirts for sale there but the FBA one is by far the best
Ok since I didn't actually work on writing an entry for today (shame shame), I will show you the pictures I've taken of my Google Earth adventures. Download that thing, it's freakin' awesome. I am praying you guys on Macs or using Linux will get a compatible version of this program soon so you can enjoy the fun too.
One helpful thing to know: you can enter geographical coordinates into it, either decimal or degree/minute/second. Unfortunately Google Earth is a bitch when it comes to accepting degree/minute/second coordinates. You have to format them exactly right and if you're even slightly off it won't accept it. The format is 00 d 00' 00.0"N, 00 d 00' 00.0"W spaced exactly like that. You have to make sure the apostrophes/quote marks aren't the slanty kind. You don't have to have that exact amount of numbers. Like if part of the coordinates is 8' you don't have to type 08'.
If you want to convert degree/minute/second coordinates to make your life easier, go here
Anyway since it's much easier to enter decimal coordinates, I list those here. I could also upload my landmark files, which, if you download them and open them with Google Earth open, will take you to the exact spot and camera orientation I saved. If any of you want those let me know.
The first few I didn't take pictures of:
Eiffel Tower 48.858258, 2.294294
Mt. Everest 27.98777777777778, 86.94444444444444
Old Wembley Stadium (knocked down in 2000) 51.555249999999994, -0.27975
Stonehenge is not visible. The image is too blurry. But for reference it is located near Amesbury, England, at 51.17833333333333, -0.17500000000000002
Now onto the pictures.

There are a few people doing imaging, like just on Google Maps, Terrafly (whose maps come up as pop-ups, so you must have them enabled), and Amazon's A9 search is including exterior shots of businesses you look up so you know where you're going if it's your first time there. They even had interior shots of our library branch.
