I'm done with my finals, so the semester is officially over. I passed the database class!! I got a C-, which is officially the lowest possible passing grade. But I passed! I took the theory class final on Tuesday and I really think I failed that class. The exam was much harder than I expected, and I had a panic attack throughout, to boot. I guess we'll have to see.
Back in June, Molly preordered the new Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess game for the GameCube for me. Back then, it said it wouldn't be released until November sometime, so we both knew it would take a while…. The new Nintendo Wii console was released in November, and the Wii version of Twilight Princess was a launch title. The GameCube version wasn't released until this month. It arrived on Saturday!
It is a very, very cool game. I'm not sure it surpasses Ocarina of Time as one of the greatest games ever made, but I think the graphics and music are fantastic, and the story is much darker and more intense than most Zelda games to date. It's pretty amazing.
Also, for my Christmas present, Molly purchased a subscription for me to Nikoli.com, a Japanese puzzle web site! (It has a (poorly-translated) English section, so I don't need to know Japanese to use it.) Not only do I get to play a bunch of nurikabe, which I love, but I'm also learning new puzzles, like slitherlink and akari! It is super-fun.
My Come Together forum has been getting a lot of spam accounts signing up. I set new registrations to require my approval, so hopefully I'll be able to stop these bad accounts before they can start spamming. Actually, a ton of spam accounts had signed up, but I didn't see any spam posts, unless former SG member Redbeard3 deleted those posts.
Ah, well. Nobody uses that forum, anyway. I wish I could make it into a fun and interesting place.
But not to end on a sad note. Everything is going pretty well, I suppose.

That kid is a tenacious little bugger, strutting around like he owns the place. Kids these days. Or, um, those days.
