This is one of those tricky times.

I have a well-paid, fun, enjoyable job. Not my calling, but pretty sweet.

I'm dating beautiful, intelligent, charming women who enjoy my company.

I'm reading fantastic literature, have been crossing things off my life goals list.

I'm losing weight (4 kgs so far!).

I'm being ballyhooed for style amongst my peers.

But something is missing.

I can't put...

I saw your post in Lit Club and made the leap that you were turned onto William Gibson's Zero History by AcidGampa's and my own ramblings. Thusly I assume that you have not yet checked out Neal Stephenson. So hunt down Cryptonomicon and Snow Crash; both books are fantastic. Also, if you have not yet read the sprawl trilogy books by Gibson, get immediately on that as well.

I'm happy to agree with you. It really is a smashing looking game, or on the road to being there.

I know I need titles, an icon for the rating, and a tail end screen with my name and blog / website links, but other than that would like to have your feedback. Video book review blog.

More detail? Less detail? What do you think is missing? What do you like, not like? This is a trial balloon, I'm going to start polishing more once...

shoot your video in landscape, not portrait. no one on earth has a TV or computer screen that's mounted 90 so all that's happening is you're using about 1/3 the screen

From the objects, one might surmise a 'normal' person. Fortunately, we know the probability of the converse.

I want a long work bench. To build orreries and tube radios. Been dreaming of idiosyncratic tie bars, mod style blitzkriegs, Smurf drinks. Drawing my finger along the surface of a chess board, thinking that the dust is probably super tiny potato chips of my skin. Sent my friend a postcard of men from Northern Quebec gutting fish, the perfect symbol of our friendship. Covered...

Separating a drop of sugar out of your blood is probably easier.

I'm tired of exercising my heart. For the next little while it's just brain and body. Those are my two best parts anyways.

I don't want to make art. I want to commit it. Like a crime or a stranger suffering from delirium.

Capri ball fight? Surely you could have done better than that.

We could snowcone ball fight, but the heat means ladies don't wear much clothing. Sprinklers, water hoses, river floating, sex in a swimmin' hole... I think we win.

Ahhh. The new year, when our spirits are supposed to be as fresh and the blinding white snow on the ground. In Montreal anyways.. we've had a massive 2 day dump of about 35 cm.

It's a fresh year and I'm continuing my still relatively fresh initiatives (started in early winter) of working out regularly, sleeping well, eating well (healthy), seeing friends, playing games, reading...

Good to hear about the new job. Internal transfer or a new adventure?
kestrel:
I approve of this post.

a) I have no idea what living with snow must be like, and I'm not sure I ever want to. I'm wearing capris in January, and that's fine by me.

b) I'm really looking forward to the Up coming back, as well. Want.

3) I agree, the mobile version is no bueno. To be honest, though, the full version has some kind of glaringly horrible flaws.
