News, a thought, and a random, silly, guilty pleasure:

News first: I have an appointment to meet with admissions at School of Mines next week! I am a little nervous, but mostly... I don't know... happy that things are actually happening. It's one thing to talk about planning to go to MIT, it's something else entirely to actually be setting things in motion. It seems...

Jamming out to Tori, thinking about things gone past and things yet to be... I get contemplative around New Year's. Not a bad way to start the year.

2009 was an amazing year. At the end of 2008 I left my fiancee, though we remained friends, and remain friends to this day. But it does mean I am living at home... which I don't mind,...

You certainly have been busy.

That certainly is a change in focus from teacher to astronaut if that is your goal. But it certainly is a worthy goal to attain.

I love that you love David Tenant too. I'm sad that he is stepping down as The Doctor this year.

Crazy what a difference a year and a half can make!

First of all, I wish I knew who had paid to have my account reactivated, as I would dearly like to thank them.

Second, much has changed... I will have to go over my profile. So consider this a placeholder, and a 'this profile under construction' for now.

Im kind of in the same boat as you. Except no mysterious stranger reactivated my account. I merely figured $30 wasn't too bad a deal for a year here. But like you I need to go over my profile and update my stuff when I get a chance.

Back and revamping my profile a bit, so I thought a more thorough update might be in order.

First of all, my darling and I are still together, still engaged, and still happy. This is good. ^^

Second, I got a new job in August: I am now working as a part time library assistant at the best school in the world, the Jefferson County...

Hey, I've been away for ages! But I was recently reminded that I am still interested in modeling for SG. In the mean time I have grown my hair back out (a little, anyway) and gotten half a tattoo (the outline is done, need some color...) and generally done lots of productive things.

I'm back and I'll probably be around a while. Also, I'm thinking...

Oh my God! I'm engaged!

My boyfriend gave me his ring tonight, and we've set the date. In the year 2010, we will be married on October 30th and November 5th... two dates because we're going to have two weddings, a traditional one for family, and a nude one just for the hell of it. We haven't decided which date will be which yet, but...

Alright, I've decided that pro-Domme would be a fantastic career for a while. Am currently in contact with a young man who lives nearby that has offered to train me in how to treat a slave, and might get me involved in the local alt scene. Some of that stuff is gross... but I figure if I specialize in Sadism I won't have to deal...

So, I'm sure that you may have guessed that I am a big fan of the movie V for Vendetta. After all, I got the Evey Hammond haircut, celebrate Guy Fawkes night, and have a crush on Hugo Weaving for his portrayal of V. Well, tonight I finally took the time to take down Valerie's Autobiography from the movie. I want to read it at...

Alright, I should know better than to read things that make me angry early in the morning. Apparently my "ignore it, this person is an idiot" function is off when I first wake up. Got angry at some people on facebook this morning for being thankful that a gay marraige law did not pass this tuesday. I don't care that they think it's a good...

Aww, thank you guys! I do enjoy the rants I occasionally go on. And the ensuing discussions have been extremely entertaining-- one person messaged me in a very mature and respectful manner, addressing my points one by one and thanking me for hopefully prompting people to think; the other ranted back at me and tried to save my soul. The second one is very tired of me being condescending to him, but I told him that I will continue to address him as child so long as he displays the manners and closed-mindedness of one. Hee hee hee.

That is a healthy rant and I do agree with you. I can't stand people that relate shit with religion, keep it to your fucking self. I'm catholic and go to church only for weddings and funerals because I just think religion as a whole causes more harm than good. As for gay marriage, I'm all for it. By the way, thanx for the add.

Yay for NaNoWriMo!

Am sitting at my favorite coffee shop writing tonight. For those of you who don't know what nano is (probably most, it's a bit obscure), check it out at www.nanowrimo.org . It's a contest I do every year, and my personal crusade. Anyway, have gotten nearly 5,000 words tonight. I love this coffee shop, I love this contest... I love lots of...

You know, I'm thinking about finding myself a girlfriend. I've never had one, and to be honest have not really thought about wanting one in the past. I've always said I was straight but open minded, in that I would be okay with being attracted to a girl if I ever was but I didn't expect to be. But I don't know... it would be...
