Right - the fricking holidays.
Article after article say try to balance, say no, don't get overwhelmed by the holidays.
Ummmmm........right. Easier to say then do.
So.............................I bitched about my commute as many of you know (1 hr, 57 miles) and then turned down another job closer to home.
Why? Because it was a step backward and I work for an amazing company that will boost my resume.
And I am actually getting settled with my commute.
Yup, totally said no to another offer. Weird right?
Well it seems right at the time.
This may seem really silly, to be so low in the blog and so blase - but .........................
TURNS OUT CHEMO PUT MOM'S CANCER IN REMISSION.
Yup. I haven't shared with many because strangely knowing someone will live is as emotionally exhausting as thinking they will pass.
It is amazing news. And quite frankly I have high hopes for 2011.

I'm so friggin happy for your mom! Soooo happy for you! As annoying the commute may be, you are doing what's best for you! I'm bitching getting into Spring St from Inwood, soooo pathetic...can't wait 'til I move to Riverdale, we'll see how I react.
