Thank you for your comments. Yeah, I'm going to talk to her eventually, just to at least see what she'd say. I don't have much to lose anyways. I'm an eternal pessimist, so I'm not likely to expect too much from her reaction or read too much into it. Everyone seems so concerned about me these days, but this is pretty much par for the course for me (pick a random journal entry of mine from the past and it's all the same ). At any given time I have at least one unrequited love, one formerly close girl friend who seems to hate me for some reason, and one crazy woman I can't seem to get rid of, lol.

Oh, and I think the shoe thing isn't a problem at all. Aren't most pairs of shoes only good with one outfit? I seem no problem with having that many pairs of shoes.
