Here are my ideas for the next few tattoos I want:

First, I'm going to use the pattern of a stone arrowhead to put two RED arrows pointing forward on the outside of my upper arms about midway between my elbow joints and my shoulders. These will be to remind me to always keep moving forward. The idea comes from similar tattoos one of the characters has in Robert Crais's detective fiction.



Next, I want to get the Sagittarius Constellation on my upper right arm right below my shoulder in rougly the same place I have my name in Elvish on my left arm, though it will of course be bigger. I don't know how big, though. I want just the star pattern, without any lines or other designs (see picture below). Each dot would be a nautical star in a variety of colors, probably blue, green, and black.



Last, I want to get a tattoo to memoralize my grandfather, who was my father in every way except biology. When he was in the USN he got a crude tattoo of a Confederate flag on his right calf. I want to do the same, but a better design. The flag will be in color (his was not) and look like it is waving. Above it will be his name, and below it his dates of birth and death. It will go on my right calf, of course. He lost his right leg in a car accident years ago, but I will always remember that tattoo...and him telling me that I should never get one! And to hell with anyone who has a problem with that flag. My grandfather was a Southerner and proud of it. He took and loved it, good and bad. I took him just the same and wish to show the proper respect.
