Wish me luck. This afternoon I will be driving into Boston BY MYSELF. Yes, Mr. Nosenseofdirection is boldy going where many people who have their navigational shit together have gone before.
My mission: Pick my friend Phil up after his class at 6:30
Objective: From there we will drive to The Worcester Palladium to see Poison The Well and Eighteen Visions on the Take Action Tour featuring many other bands as well.
I can't wait to see PTW and 18V. I don't think I'll be going up front near the stage though. I don't like being near those idiots who like to throw random punches and swing their arms around in the pit. *sigh* It's a shame that the hardcore scene is making such great music nowadays, but the audience can be such a bunch of violent narrow-minded idiots. I am especially ambivalent about being up front for this show because I'll be wearing my PTW shirt and *gasp* baggy pants. This will not sit well with the "only-wear-tight-shirts-and-tight-jeans-and-nautical star tattoos" crowd. I don't care what they think, I just don't want to give them an inch on me cuz I know one or a few of them might take a mile. Furthermore, I'm not going to change my wardrobe just b/c it'll upset the natives.
No big deal. I'm also going to see PTW with Deftones on another tour.
The pits will be crazy of course but there will be less arm-swinging knucklheads in the audience. Only bummer is that Hoobastank will be playing

good luck in boston, i have a friend who lives there, he says driving there is all crazy and shit.
but to see ptw itd be worth it!
