I can’t pick just one.  Maybe on per sub-genre and I’ll subdivide the genre all day.  Lol.  Like my favorite werewolf film is The Howling but my favorite werewolf/comedy is American Werewolf’ in London and my favorite werewolf/teen film is Silver Bullet.  Halloween, the original is one of my favorites and was very influential in my interest in horror and film and frankly writing growing up but so were many others.  The Thing, Tourist Trap, Evil Dead, Ghost Story...
