I've mentioned before ghostwriting the comic strip MARK TRAIL for my friend James Allen who is the current "creator" and artist for the strip but I've never posted a link. I do almost all the writing, occasionally James will add an extra day if he wants to do specific art. The process normally is for me to send him parts of the script...

These were shot with an AF-P Nikkor 70-300 from 5ft. I had to lean into a couple shots to get auto focus to kick in. One soft box from the side and the last photo I belive I added a reflector. All the ambient light was filtered out. F 4.5 ISO 100 Shutter speed 1/250. The first three are a little different because I changed the position of the chair between shots when I was getting a new drink. LOL

I always think about letting my hair grow out grow out, and after resigning from my last job and not being required to keep a short haircut or a buzzcut, I thought I would defy the man and let it grow. It just curls so much that it stays in that awkward stage forever. With the humidity here in Florida, plus the fact that I...

Okay, I'm getting more likes here than comments.  Is a like a yes or a no?  Lol

Finally got my poor little Nikon back from the shop (broken shutter). It was a bit of a process but couldn't have worked out better. It went for a bit of a tumble accidentally and busted a kit lens. This is something I never really discuss, I don't think I've mentioned it here and I barely even talk to friends about it, if I've bothered to talk to anyone at all much in the last year.

On February 14th, 2017 my parents, Harry and Jan Vorderbrug, were in an automobile accident. They were T-boned by a pick-up truck at an intersection...

I need a model close enough to the Panama City Beach or Destin area who is willing to do a (semi-clandestine ie. sneaky ranger but not state park, approved way) photo shoot in the house from the "hit" horror(ble) 1972 movie The Frogs, starring Ray Milland and featuring Sam Elliott in his debut roll. Think about it! All the furniture is original just changed...

Not a very good photo, it doesn't show how vivid the colors are and then how bold the white ink is. It does show that my lazy ass has not been to the gym or the beach lately. Even though they are respectively only blocks and miles away.

I didn't show the inside of the bicep which was a loose tribute to Dr. Gold Foot and the Bikini Bomb because I'm not quite happy with it.  Now only have to add The Tingler and a few little color changes and that will be my ink fix for a while...

My very close and esteemed friend James Allen who has the pleasure of being the latest creator of the syndicated comic strip Mark Trail has it written in his contract that he can have no assistance on the comic strip Mark Trail (a clause that was mainly meant for art, placed there by James and Jack Elrod's card sharping of King Features), so it...
