Well, October is officially started here in the gulf coast with hurricane Michael on his way and expected to make landfall in the Florida panhandle somewhere near Panama City around Wednesday evening. Mother and Dad are being evacuated tomorrow with the rest of the nursing home and much of the area is under mandatory evacuation because of potential flood zones. I'm at a slightly...

Take care!!

Is anyone having issues lately with how the site is loading using with Firefox or any other browser? It might be just me but it's the only site not cooperating and the corrective measures I've taken don't seem to work...

You probably will not see me much this week (although I hope things change for the better and you do). My dad was admitted to the hospital yesterday with some internal bleeding issues. As of today, they have not found the source. He may be in the hospital most of the week unless they can find the problem and fix it sooner. He is 83...

Thanks @felicity, he just got out of the hospitalย  yesterday and is now back at the nursing home with my Mother.ย  I'm still exhausted from a lack of sleep but everyone is doing well now.ย  Now it's time to see what I missed!

I've mentioned before ghostwriting the comic strip MARK TRAIL for my friend James Allen who is the current "creator" and artist for the strip but I've never posted a link. Okay, I'm getting more likes here than comments.ย  Is a like a yes or a no?ย  Lol

Finally got my poor little Nikon back from the shop (broken shutter). It was a bit of a process but couldn't have worked out better. It went for a bit of a tumble accidentally and busted a kit lens. Still under warranty. So I sent the lens back, knowing it couldn't be fixed because the plastic retention part broke. The camera still worked...

Yay that is great ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

This is something I never really discuss, I don't think I've mentioned it here and I barely even talk to friends about it, if I've bothered to talk to anyone at all much in the last year.

On February 14th, 2017 my parents, Harry and Jan Vorderbrug, were in an automobile accident. They were T-boned by a pick-up truck at an intersection...
