I had to go to this orientation thing today that was for an hour. There were 14 people in this room. The walls got tighter & tighter & so did my chest. I lasted a whole 25 minutes before I had to leave in a panic. Bleh.

Yeah, maybe it is feeling a little shy now, i'm not sure. I did find it quite interesting to meet people for the first time who already know SO much personal stuff about me! Usually you meet people first, and then *maybe*, if they become good enough friends, they might find out all of the drama that is going on in your life, or all of the quirks you have - this way, they all read about all of it first, and THEN meet you.

I got my glasses at a little place out in Hillsboro, just the eye doctor we've had for a while. But the brand is Lafont, and all their frames are really interesting and artistic, and handmade in France. And expensive. But they're awesome, so it's kind of worth it.

I can fully relate to your comments regarding social anxiety, hon. It is something I have grappled with my entire life. So many opportunities missed, friendships lost. It is a constant struggle.
